Been having issues with my iPod Photo recently. So for a week its been sitting without a single byte of music on the HD while trying to find my firewire sync cable for it. After finding it and gazing in amazement at its nearly 5 foot length for the hundredth time... I finally got iTunes to recognize the iPod, restore it, and to start synching my music collection.

The key to jumpstarting seems to be a second iPod/iPhone to get iTunes to recognize the crippled iPod. Plug in the working unit, then the not so working unit. It should then show up.


All this to get my Test Drive Unlimited custom audio to work on my Xbox 360... Now when Microsoft and Apple get their differences settled with the new iPod Touch/Phone devices so they work on the 360...
